What else do I need to know?

To help us keep choir running smoothly we ask all choir members to agree to:

Welcome - and join us!

We are a popular choir and perform in a variety of places in Cheltenham and beyond. This success couldn’t happen without the support of our wonderful parents and children.

We are proud of the choir’s work and we do not set any barriers for membership - just a willingness to work together and follow our code of conduct (below). In return we offer the satisfaction and enjoyment of singing together and performing to the school and wider public.

We also use this website to make it easy for your children to learn the music and prepare for events.

CKJS Choir is run by Mrs Watts assisted by Mr Harmer, both of whom (coincidentally) have worked at the BBC and currently work professionally in many aspects of music-making including conducting, examining, instrumental teaching. We are delighted to be joined this year by new CKJS staff member, Mr Jukes.

When do we meet?

We meet on Wednesdays from 3.10 to 4.05 pm, usually in the school assembly hall, and parents collect their children from outside the back of the hall.
